    They are beautiful!

    Tower of fire.
My family and I are really enjoying this addition to our patio. The flame at night casts a nice glow and it is easy to see those around you. It was great that the glass tube is in one piece instead of the two piece glass a lot of these units have. You can feel some heat from it at the far end of a three person couch but I purchased it mainly for the ambience it provides. It came in one big box and the glass tube was packed well. There was no damage to my box but I live fairly close to the shipping point. The unit is easy to light with the electronic ignitor. You push in the gas valve at the pilot setting for about 20 seconds, push the electronic ignitor button while still holding in the gas valve, continue pushing the valve in for another 20 seconds and then turn it to the flame height you desire. The flame can be adjusted all the way to the top of the heater. The assembly took a couple of hours with the protective film on the stainless requiring a bit of time to remove. All the parts fit well together and it seems like it will last a long time. You can put your hands directly on the protective guards while the unit is running and not get burned. The paint on the protective guards will probably need to be renewed every couple of years (they remove easily) as they are not stainless steel. If you put it under a patio, it is roughly 89 inches tall assembled and the included instructions say the heater should be at least 24 inches from combustible surfaces on the top and 36 inches on the sides. You should really enjoy this “dancing flame” heater should you decide to purchase one.

GREAT to look at and light up in the backyard!
Assembly: I’m not a handyman by any definition, but it only took me an hour and a half to successfully put this together from ripping the box open, to closing the final door panel. Newbie tip: Do not put this together in direct sunlight. When it was time for me to remove the protective film from the bottom panels, the sun softened the film too much so that it was more difficult to peel off the panels.Heat quotient: With a cool breeze you’ll need to be within two feet to really feel any heat, but it looks GREAT when you’re standing around it as the flame dances within the glass tubing. We have a traditional heat lamp eight feet away from this one, and you you could probably be warmed from THAT heat lamp to continue hanging around THIS cool looking lamp!

This is a great patio heater
This is a great patio heater. It takes a little while for the glass cylinder to heat up and radiate heat, but works as expected. Give yourself some time to assemble it, if you’re not paying for installation. It’s fairly easy to put together, but the plastic sheeting that protects the stainless steel panels is pretty difficult to get off; it doesn’t just peel off and it’s takes some time to get it all of the panels. This was the most difficult part of assembly. Also, make sure the nozzle is screwed tight to the propane canister. We had to use a wrench to tighten a little– not too much– to attach the propane so it didn’t leak. Otherwise, all good. We like the look of it, and it heats the space fairly well, after it’s been running for about 15-20 mins.

    Nice unit, good price.
It looks nice, the assembly takes all of 2 hours, the direction is adequate. I needed a unit for my covered patio with 10 foot ceiling. This is medium height and good enough to not damage the ceiling. The door to the tank area can use some improvement by being on a hinge. Also the radius of heat is more like 5-7 feet. All in all good for the price.

Beautiful looking, does not throw as much heat as I expected
Beautiful addition to our Arizona room, hammered bronze is gorgeous. A bit disappointed as the flames don’t really “dance” I’m thinking windsock, lol, but it gives a great ambiance and puts out decent heat. IMO, its more beauty than function but we do enjoy watching it. We have 2 small dogs and did not want an “open” flame which does put out more heat but the kids come first. Also, once assembled it is taller than 5 feet as I am 5’2″ and its probably closer to 6 feet tall.

    Beautiful!
We love this heater. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is the heat it emits. You need to be fairly close, but the ambiance is delightful, it’s just gorgeous.

  8. Shelly

Definitely generates a lot of heat
In the COVID times everything interesting has to happen outdoors and we can’t be outdoors without a heat source. This heater fits the bill perfectly. Putting it together is definitely a two person job, three is even better. At first glance it’s intimidating but it’s not THAT difficult, just heavy and unwieldy. FYI – the battery goes in the ignitor.

  9. Traci Davis

Great ambiance, but minimal heat output, assembly took a long time.
We set this patio heater out in our gazebo where we entertain family & friends. The dancing flame looks awesome, but doesn’t put out a lot of heat. However, it works well if we close the gazebo cutains. The negative thing is that the assembly takes more than the time stated (60 mins) for one person to do (2-3 times longer). It would have been easier & faster with another set of hands.

    Picture matches the unit.
    Was purchased for outdoor heating.
