Fulfill your short-order cook fantasies! This griddle is awesome. There are a few quirks that are notable, but if you can look past them, you’ll be flopping hashbrowns and slinging eggs like nobody’s business.First and most major quirk for me is that the griddle top doesn’t actually attach to the body, it sits on top, which would be important to know before you try and flip the thing over to get a look at the bottom and accidentally drop the cast-iron griddle on your foot. Ouch. Don’t do that.Second quirk is that the drain hole for grease and bits is somewhat small and takes some finesse to get all the bits to fall down there – also, it should go without saying, but this is even more challenging if the griddle is set up somewhere that isn’t level.Last quirk, which is pretty obvious is that this ends up being somewhat small in cooking surface if your cooking for more than a couple of people. Now the positives – huge heat that gets up to temperature quickly. There are hot and cool spots, but you’ll get to know them pretty quickly. I’ve used this to make eggs, hash browns, real and fake sausage patties, and other items and it works like a champ. I tossed some salmon on it as well and can easily get that high-end restaurant sear with a tender interior that is almost impossible on a standard range and pan setup. The whole thing is pretty lightweight, if awkwardly sized, and it uses full size propane bottles only – so you can keep the same tank between a propane heater, grill, and the griddle without having to fiddle with those 1/2 gallon camping tanks.Overall, this is fantastic purchase at a great price.

purchased Nov 3rd 2022 for $78. current price is $168The griddle seems decent but it does not distribute heat evenly so there are definitely hot and way less hot areas on the cooking surface but the build quality is decent and I thought it was a good value for my $78 spent on 11/3/2022. Seeing this griddle now (11/25/22) selling on Amazon for well over $160 or twice what I paid for it seems suspicious to me.

Overall I love this griddleI really love it, if I could improve it I’d make the oil catcher more tolerant of being unlevel and not drip internal to the griddle. The feet do not have much adjustability for camping tables that are never level so I’d plan to take shims off that’s what you use it for. But I love to cook on it. Absolutely better for eggs and bacon and sausage and spiedies and all the stuff we do while camping.

This Grill Rocks!Couldn’t be happier with this grill. Cooks steaks in minutes and even our vegetables are heating to perfection. Omelets in the morning, steaks in the afternoon. We use this grill six days per week. Follow the directions for seasoning and cleaning and it a great addition to the home or camping. The 20 inch surface allows three steaks, potato slices, and vegetables all at the same time. Our grill top slightly warps under high heat, but returns to normal during cooling. Hasn’t negatively affected our usage.

Great griddle! Make sure you clean and then season the cook surface wellOverall this griddle is pretty badass. Really great for tailgating or car camping. There are 2 things I’d offer up as useful knowledge after my first weekend out with it.1) Get it early enough that you have time to season it, seasoning makes a huge difference. It arrived from Amazon the evening before my trip so I didnt have a chance to season the cook surface and it worked but it was not ideal. When I got it home I spent a whole day with it and a can of oven cleaner, some steel wool, and a bottle of grapeseed oil to clean up the messy cook surface and give it a proper season. The instructions tell you to season it by using the heating elements on the griddle itself however this is not safe to do indoors (if you’re in an apartment like me) so I set my oven to 500F and seasoned it like my cast irons instead by placing in the oven for 1hr for each layer of oil.2.) Wind is a problem. If you’re camping somewhere with high winds the surface of the griddle wont get hot enough to cook anything. We resolved this issue by placing a cooler behind it as a wind break and it was like night and day. If you’re going to be using your griddle somewhere windy, you’ll need a way to block the wind.

Im actually cooking more often.Simple to use and it’s way easier to clean than previous grills that had to live outside, making the deterioration process faster. I’m optimistic about this one as long as after cleaning you keep it inside. I’ve also purchased the cover and a bag with a handle for storage hence making portable and easy to move to the garage after I’m done cooking.

My first griddleTook the griddle to the lake. I was able to make food to feed a family of 6 adults and 3 kids in a pretty decent amount of time. Heats well there was a slight breeze (not heavy wind) that came in and I feel really reduced the heat. No carrier or cover included so I had to store it back in the box it came in which was the shipping box. First season needs to be done before you cook on it. Make sure you follow the instructions. I did it the day before I went to the lake, probably should have done it early in the day as it does take time. You may need to buy a table to set it on. We ended up using the picnic table at the campground, but I did buy a small table for it that won’t melt.

Happy with purchaseIt’s everything I’d hoped it would be. Very easy to clean once seasoned. Like the ability to do burgers, onions and mushrooms all at the same time. Does a nice job on t bone steaks. I’ve had traditional grills my whole life. I use this more. You can always start with a clean surface without the effort of cleaning a grill grate. If you buy the optional cover….it’s water resistant not waterproof. For the winter months i can put it in the optional carry bag and easily put it in the basement.
