Look good at night.
The lanterns have the old style design which is nice. They are made of plastic and in daylight frankly they just look like (inexpensive) toy lanterns. At night however they give a nice glowing light and look more like the real thing. I had purchased two sets and had to return one as one of the lamps was not working but overall for the price the are not too bad. The fact that they are battery operated makes it safe for kids. They will also come in handy when the family decorates for Halloween.

Nice one for our backyard
We bought it for hanging in our backayard pergola. It gives a nice ambience at night. We wanted the yellow flame type light. looks good for us. Not so bright if you are looking for really good light.

Dancing Flame Led Vintage Lanterns (2 pack)
I haven’t had these lanterns very long but so far, I’m really liking them!They came packaged well in a box with a lot of protective cushioning around them. Good thing too because the part that goes around the bulb actually feels like frosted glass, not plastic.The rest of lamps do feel like plastic though. In this case, that’s OK with me because they don’t *look* like plastic and it keeps the weight down.I love having options and these battery operated lamps (3 AA for each lamp) give you the options of either flame type-like effect (very nice for ambiance) or a steady, bright white light (could be useful during temporary power outages). They can either stand by themselves or hang them by the wire handle.Mine came with a remote control but you can use the knob to turn them off/on/select mode too.

Cutest lamps ever!!!
These little lamps are amazing. I bought the battery powered ones as I put them in my office and there is no sun that shines though. These are super lightweight and are made out of plastic. There are some cheap aspects to these lamps (they are made out of plastic, it’s not bright at all when on the flame setting, the metal that it hangs from is flimsy and cheap) but if you’re using them like me where they won’t be moving often or are indoors the whole time then it’s a nice touch and I do recommend them. As stated, I’m not sure if the solar ones are more durable but if they’re not, I wouldn’t recommend them for outside use.

Very nice looking lantern!
So impressed with these lanterns. There were a lil smaller than i visioned, but they worked perfectly in our outdoor location. I love the 2 lighting options and that the autimatically charge in the day and come on at dusk. For the most part they seem to be well made and last throughout the night. They brighten up the pathway without being too dim or too bright! We are getting so many compliments too!

We full time RV. We travel in a teardrop trailer with metal storage boxes up front. So we bought these to put on our boxes at night. When we are in an RV park, we get several compliments about our little solar lanterns. They are bright, but not too bright. They look pretty real. I love them!!!

Very realistic looking!!
I was impressed with the packing. It would take someone with nefarious intent (or a clumsy elephant) to damage these lanterns in shipping. I was also impressed with the realistic look and functionality of this lantern. It’s just the right size for my hanging Halloween decoration and light enough to not be a concern of breaking the arm or wrist pieces. I especially like the “dancing flame” light. It works well with my Halloween decoration. The remote is a nice touch and works well, however the range is limited. Roughly 3-4 feet direct-line-of-sight. Yet this also allows you to have both lamps in relatively close proximity and operate each one separately (they work off the same remote). I still give it five stars.

So worth the money
These lights made the whole scene for math class. Amazing. The students loved the event. The lights put it over the top. Little weight. I was able to hang them from yarn just above the tables.

A really nice vibe!
I can’t grade the weatherproof quality because i haven’t had them outside but I love these little lanterns. They give a really nice natural glow that looks like flickering candle light. I am very pleased with these little guys!
